i Have a 1994 Ranger 491vr boat. I have a 225hp Johnson outboard. I pull the boat with a 2005 dodge ram 1500.

How Steven started fishing

I have been fishing since I was about 10 years old. I was raised in Georgia, and my dad got me into bass fishing at a early age. I recently started tournament fishing in the last year. But, I have already had a couple of top 10 finishes.

Aspirations or goals with fishing

To one day go on tour as a pro. I also want to gain sponsorship.and pass on knowledge to people who want to learn the sport.

Favorite way to fish

I consider myself a power fisherman. I like to fish fast if possible, But I can slow it down if needed. I am very versatile

Most exciting fishing experience

My biggest fish is 13lbs 4oz. I caught it in a Georgia farm pond when I was 15 years old. I have caught a few 10 lbers, but have not been able to beat my fish from when I was 15 yet.

How Steven preps for a tournament

When I am preparing for a tournament. I study alot of maps, social media, blogs, prior tournament results, and getting out on the water as much as possible

My best finish so far has been 2nd place. I used a redeye shad and a swimbait during the tournament. I found fish in the back of pockets fishing pads

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Set a goal of what you want to do, and never give up. I am a strong believer that a perso can be anything they want, if they have the drive and determination.
