Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:
Spend a fare amount of time in the back of a boat with a friend or family member.
You can learn a lot not having to worry about everything at once.
Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport
In todays BASS world electronics are a big part of the sport (not everything but a BIG part)
Take some classes on electronics to learn how to use them for being more than just a fish finder.
