What Elijah does for a living:

I am retired from the United States Army so I just fish and support my sponsors I used to own my own welding shop and just tinker around the house now.

My uncle used to fish the redman tour when i was growing up and he used to take me fishing all the time.

How Elijah preps for a tournament

I always start with the weather, water clarity and temp. I will then check out topographical maps and do a little pre-fishing to help locate my fish.

crankbaits, top water bait and a jerkbait

the battle within your own head and making the choice to stay or go


When tournaments don't go my way

i just chalk it up to learning and evaluate what went wrong and try to correct it or do something different the next time.


Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

do your research and spend time on the water finding and catching fish
