Grandfather and Mother took me alot when i was young. Starting fishing tourneys in 1979.

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

Won many of tourneys throughout my fishing life. My best was a 4th place finish in 1999 in the Everstart Series on Lake Eufaula Alabama. Besting the best Pro's in the country was so cool. 


Most challenging part of tournament fishing

Changing conditions when fish move alot.


When tournaments don't go my way

Relax and get back out there. There is always room to get better.


Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Start as a Co-Angler and learn from the best.


Some shared general bass fishing techniques for people just getting into the sport

Start fishing shallow with what you like to use. Then expand from there. Remember there is 90% of the fish behind you when you fish the bank.
