Study maps, read fishing reports, talk to locals and try to get out a couple of times before.

I have placed 1st in several tournaments but my best one was an ABA when I fished with Brent Anderson that was a day.


Most challenging part of tournament fishing

chalk them up as a lesson learned and try to not make the same decisions the next time.


Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Get sponsors it is expensive and be flexible you can't win them all.
