What you should know about Dennis:

How Dennis started fishing

My dad and brother took me fishing when I was a boy, So in 2003 when my boys were young, I dcided to get a bassboat so we could fish together. One day while fishing the river our Tournament Director (Wayne Alker) bumped into me, He told me all about the ABA. The next week I fished my first tournament and I was hooked. It was wonderful to be able to compete again after so many years.

Best tournament finish and what you did that day when you were fishing.

Winning the Div 9, two day and aoy in 2010. Day one was no pressure I was 5 pts behind the leaders and didn't think I had a chance. But after day one I was in the lead and the two guys in front of me in points were not doing well. Suddenly I had a chance and the pressure was on. A good friend told me just fish. Put all the stuff out of my mind and fish like I always do. I really believe that's what got me through. Just forgot about everything and fished my run like I have so many times before.

Most challenging part of tournament fishing

When tournaments don't go my way

I always learn something, good or bad day, I rather fsh then anything else.
