TERRY ADAMS WINS D72 ON OCONEE

Terry Adams of Mansfield, Ga takes the win for D72 Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour held at Lake Oconee on May 30, 2020.
His five fish limit totaled 18.05 pounds to put him in the lead of the 46 anglers participating in the tournament.
Terry won $813 cash and the First Place trophy. He anchored his sack with a 4.92 pounder which was caught with
a buzz bait on the mayfly hatch. A big crank bait was also used to land three of his keepers. Terry gets a big
Shout Out for teaching fishing to students at Eastside High School in Newton county.

MATT HENRY WINS D72 TWO-DAY CHAMPIONSHIP

Matt Henry of Milledgeville, Ga took the First Place trophy and $1,550 cash for winning the two-day divisional championship
for D72 at the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour held June 6 & 7, 2020 at lakes Sinclair and Oconee. Matt's two day total weight
was 36.58 pounds. He was in the lead after Day 1 with 21.54 pounds, anchored by a 5.08 pounder. He brought in 15.04
pounds on Day 2, anchored by a 4.31 pounder. Matt said he caught fish on top water both days, and also used shaky head
with Reelsnot line conditioner and attractant.

David Simmons wins D72 on Sinclair

David Simmons of McDonough, Ga took the win at the D72 Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tournament on April 26, 2020 on Lake Sinclair. He won $813 cash and the first-place trophy for his impressive total scale weight of 18.00 pounds.

Randy Bush of McDonough, GA took the win on January 18, 2020 for the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour D72 on Lake Oconee.

Aaron Batson Wins D72 on Oconee

Aaron Batson of Oxford, GA. brought a winning sack totaling at 23.53 lbs. to the scale at Lake Oconee on December 21, 2019 for the D72 Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tournament.

David Lowery Takes the D72 Win on Sinclair

David Lowery of Milledgeville, Ga took home the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour first place trophy and $667 cash for the D72 tournament held on December 14, 2019, at Lake Sinclair. David said he caught his five fish-limit early, using a Big Bite Baits Kamikaze Craw on a quarter ounce shaky head. His total scale weight was 14.73 pounds.

David Lowery wins D72 on Oconee

David Lowery of Milledgeville, Ga took home the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour first place trophy and $775 cash for the D72 tournament held on November 30, 2019, at Lake Oconee. David said he caught his five-fish limit early, using a Big Bite Baits Kamikaze Craw on a quarter ounce shaky head. His total scale weight was 15.08 pounds, and it was secured by a 5.01 kicker.

Steve Dobbs Wins D72 on Sinclair

Steve Dobbs of McDonough, Ga brought the winning 5 fish limit to the scale for D72 on November 9, 2019, at Lake Sinclair for the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour. His total weight of 11.40 pounds won the First-place trophy and $765 cash. Steve secured his sack with a 3.78 pounder and won the Big Bass trophy plus additional cash of $380. He said he caught these fish using a square bill crankbait and a shaky head.

Aaron Batson Wins D72 On Oconee

Aaron Batson of Oxford, GA took home the First-place trophy for the D72 Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour on October 26, 2019. There were 64 anglers competing on Lake Oconee for a total payout of $3,136 plus the optional Big Bass pot.

Darren Taylor wins D72 on Oconee

Darren Taylor of Lexington, GA took the win for the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour D72 tournament at Lake Oconee on September 28, 2019. There were 39 anglers competing on this very hot September day. Darren said he caught his five-fish limit totaling 10.84 pounds using a crankbait. His first-place finish was secured by a 3.19 pounder.

Derek Johnson Wins D72 2020 Season Opener on Sinclair

Derek Johnson of Lumber City, GA took the win for D72 at Lake Sinclair on September 7, 2019. There were 43 anglers competing in the opening tournament for the 2020 season. Derek said he caught some bass early on topwater, then changed over to using worms on brush piles. His five-fish limit totaled 13.94 pounds, and his first-place finish was secured by a 4.72 pounder. Derek won $796 cash and the First Place trophy!
