Penney and Lowe Take Home $9000 on Weiss ATHENS, Ala. – The 2020 Bass Pro Shops Alabama Team Tour’s 3rd event was held on Weiss Lake at Little River Marina with 90 teams fishing. Finishing in 1st place with 5 fish weighing 19.38 lbs. was Hunter Penney and Charles Lowe winning a $9,000. They caught the winning string fishing topwater, swim jigs in the grass and flipping plastics in treetops. |
Talton and Muench Take Home a new Triton on Neely Henry ATHENS, Ala. – The 2020 Bass Pro Shops Alabama Team Trail made its 2nd stop of the season on Neely Henry. Launching from Coosa Landing 124 teams went out with hopes of bringing in the winning sack. John Talton and James Muench took 1st place with 5 fish weighing 16.20 lbs. For their efforts they took home a 2020 Triton TX 17 with a Mercury 60 HP 4 stroke outboard valued at $ 20,000. They caught their winning fish using Driftwood swimbaits on main river points in the mid-lake area. |
Patterson and Douglas Take Home a new Triton on Guntersville ATHENS, Al. – The 2020 Bass Pro Shops Alabama Team Tournament kicked off on Guntersville Lake at Goose Pond Landing with 100 teams. Finishing in 1st place with 5 fish weighing 24.20 lbs. was the team of Johnny Patterson and Bryan Douglas winning a 2020 Triton TX 17 with a Mercury 60 HP 4 stroke outboard valued at $ 20,000 and $1,000 in the option pot. They caught their winning stringer fishing crankbaits, rattletraps and jigs and even broke out a spinning rod to complete their limit. |
John Rice and Paul Arnold Take Home Two New Tritons at Chickamauga John Rice of Huntsville, Al and Paul Arnold of Woodville, Al. won the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour Championship, held October 5th and 6th on Lake Chickamauga. Launching out of Dayton Boat Dock and Grill. John and Paul went straight to work and caught a two-day limit of 10 bass weighing 36.51 pounds. For their victory, the team took home 2 Triton TX-17 boats equipped with 60 HP Mercury outboards and Garmin electronics valued at $40,000. |

The Bass Pro Shops Team Tour will hold nine team tournaments in two divisions. Registration for the 2020 season will begin September 16, 2019 at 8 am with special incentives for early registrations. Davis and Butler win a new Triton boat on Lake Guntersville Sunday, May 5th, 2019 the ABA Triton 100% Plus Team Tour held its second tournament of the regular season that launched from Goosepond Bait and Tackle on Lake Guntersville located in Scottsboro, AL. Eighty-three teams went head to head, on a sunny but windy day, to try and win the 2019 Triton 17TX powered by a 60HP Mercury four-stroke with Garmin Echo-map plus 93SV valued at 20K. With a massive six-and-a-half-pound lead over 2nd place, Seth Davis and Brent Butler took the victory weighing in 5 fish for a whopping weight of 29.69 pounds. |
North Alabama Team Tour Heads to Neely Henry ATHENS, Ala. – The North Alabama Division of the 2019 Bass Pro Shops Team Tour operated by American Bass Anglers will hold its second event of the season on April 14, 2019 on Lake Neely Henry in Gadsden, AL. The competitors will launch at Coosa Landing located at 200 Lake St, Gadsden, AL 35903. Neely Henry Rescheduled due to flooding Athens, AL 03/05/2019 - The Bass Pro Shops Team Tour Alabama North Neely Henry tournament scheduled for Saturday 3/9/2019 has been rescheduled due to high water levels and unsafe boating conditions. The lake is currently above flood level and not expected to recede enough prior to the event to be safe. Angler safety is our number one priority and in the best interest of our anglers the tournament has been rescheduled to April 14, 2019. The rescheduled tournament will still launch from Coosa Landing. Registration will be held on site at Coosa Landing at the ABA stage trailer 4:00-6:30 with safety briefing and partner pairing at 7:00 p.m. |
Mason and Walker win new Triton boat at Guntersville Saturday, February 9, 2019 the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour operated by American Bass Anglers held its first tournament of the regular season that launched from Goosepond Bait and Tackle on Guntersville Lake located in Scottsboro, Alabama. Ninety-three teams went to battle in cold weather conditions to try and win the 2019 Triton 17TX powered by a 60HP Mercury four-stroke with Garmin Echo-map plus 63CV valued at 20K. With a 5-pound lead over 2nd place Jimmy Mason and Lance Walker took the victory weighing in 5 fish for a total weight of 33.82-pounds. The team also earned a check for $900 for taking 1st place in the High Stakes Option Pot. |
Bass Pro Shops Team Tour Set to Open on Guntersville The Bass Pro Shops Team Tour operated by American Bass Anglers will have the season opener at Lake Guntersville on February 9, 2019. Launching out of Goosepond located at 417 Ed Hembree Dr. Scottsboro, AL 35769, anglers will be competing for the chance to take home a Triton/Mercury Package that is valued at $20k. Last year, the team of Pat Anderson and Randall Allen took home the boat with a winning weight of 25.42 pounds. |

Divisional Angler of the Year Team Top Team in each division by points after the championship will earn Divisional Angler of the Year and receive one package entry into the 2020 tournaments. |

Alabama Triton 100% Plus Team Tour heads to Weiss Lake The Alabama Triton 100% Plus Team Tour will hold its final stop of the 2018 regular season on Sunday, July 1, 2018 on Weiss Lake at Little River Marina in Cedar Bluff Alabama. The competitors will launch from Little River Marina, located at 1780 County Road 102; Cedar Bluff, AL 35959. Anglers may begin fishing at 5:15 a.m. or safe light.
