Borroughs Wins on the Savannah River
Our winner, first place Jason Burroughs was fishing in Upper Savannah River area using top water lures. Bobby Stanfill finished in second with five fish weighing 13.49 pounds. He was fishing Pollard’s Cove. Ray Diamond came in third with 10.03 pounds from the Little River area of lake.
Big Fish was James Stone with a 6.27 pounder winning $95.00 and a Revo rod and reel package for big fish from one our great sponsors.
Nineteen anglers fished this Clarks Hill Lake one-day qualifying tournament. It started out at 80 degrees and ended with the 3 pm weigh in at 99 degrees. It was sunny and windy most of the day with winds 10 to 15mph from the east. Water temperature was 89 degrees. The main lake clear.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the RAM AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA RAM AFT National Championship tournament.
The RAM American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the American Fishing Tour National Championship.

Chickahominy River Tournament Moved to Sunday 8/30
James City County, VA. The Division 13 of the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour Chickahominy River tournament scheduled for Saturday 8/29 has been moved to Sunday 8/30. The event change is due to the expected high winds and rainfall from the remnants of Tropical Storm Laura.

Lowery Wins $2200 in Georgia Event on Lake Sinclair
David Lowery of Milledgeville, GA won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series Georgia Division tournament, held September 12th on Lake Sinclair. Running out of Dennis Station Ramp in Eatonton, GA David caught five bass that locked in the scales at 13.73 pounds. For the Boater Division victory, Lowery took home a check for $2200 for his win.
Hopkins and Jenkins Take Team Tour Win on Old Hickory
The Team of John Hopkins and Tad Jenkins won the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour event held July 26th on Old Hickory. Running out of Flippers in Gallatin, TN John and Tad brought back a 5-fish limit to the scales that weighed in at 16.96-lbs. For the victory, they took home $3,600.
