Etheredge Wins Division 88 Event
From Division 88, Alabama East/Central, Joel Etheredge is one step closer to the Ram American Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win in the Ram American Fishing Tour Division 88 tournament held on Neely Henry this past weekend. Joel's five bass limit weighed in at 12.20 pounds. Big Bass was awarded to Mike Garlen for catching a 3.76 pound largemouth.The top five anglers were:1. Joel Etheredge 12.20 lbs.2. Steve Dobbs Wins D72 on Sinclair
Steve Dobbs of McDonough, Ga brought the winning 5 fish limit to the scale for D72 on November 9, 2019, at Lake Sinclair for the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour. His total weight of 11.40 pounds won the First-place trophy and $765 cash. Steve secured his sack with a 3.78 pounder and won the Big Bass trophy plus additional cash of $380. He said he caught these fish using a square bill crankbait and a shaky head.
Lake Keowee to Host 2020 Couples National Championship
ATHENS, Ala. – October 31, 2019 -- American Bass Anglers announced that the 2020 Couples National Championship, will be hosted by Oconee County, South Carolina on Lake Keowee. The event will take place on September 20-25 at South Cove County Park in Seneca, SC.

John Rice and Paul Arnold Take Home Two New Tritons at Chickamauga
John Rice of Huntsville, Al and Paul Arnold of Woodville, Al. won the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour Championship, held October 5th and 6th on Lake Chickamauga. Launching out of Dayton Boat Dock and Grill. John and Paul went straight to work and caught a two-day limit of 10 bass weighing 36.51 pounds. For their victory, the team took home 2 Triton TX-17 boats equipped with 60 HP Mercury outboards and Garmin electronics valued at $40,000.
