Roger Springs Wins On Lake Pomme De Terre
Roger Springs of Osage Beach, MO wins Ram American Fishing Tour D49 event held 6/17/2017 on Lake Pomme De Terre. Blasting of from Hermitage, Roger brought back a bag of fish locking in at 12.55lbs. Roger also claims big bass honors with a 3.92 lb. bass.
Taking second was Robert Hime of Odessa, Mo with a weight og 10.90 lbs.
Rounding out the top three is Time Merkh of Bennington, KS with a weight of 8.31 lbs.
The morning started off rough with storms. With no power and lights, the ramp was dark. It felt like the olden days. Eventually the skies cleared, and the weather heated up bringing up the humidity. There was a small delay on getting started, but it didn’t stop this group of men from bringing in great fish. All of our guys fished hard and brought in fish. We had a really good day.
The next event in this division is 07/08/2017 on the Truman Reservoir, blasting of from the State Park.

Kenny Turner Takes the Win on Lay Lake
September 24, 2022, Clanton, AL. Twenty-three anglers launched from Flatlands Boat Launch near Clanton, AL. Eight of those anglers brought back five-fish limits to the scales, but when the scales closed Kenny Turner of Billingsley, AL took the victory with 11.57 pounds. For the victory, Turner took home $579 in prize money.

BREWERTON, N.Y. – Henry J. Fristik came from behind with a big bag on the final day to win the Boater Division of the American Bass Anglers Open Series, Presented by Caymas Boats, 2-day Area 9 Championship, held Sept. 24-25, 2022, on Oneida Lake.
Matetzsc Wins Top 150 Solo Series Wildcard
JACKSON, Miss – William “Taz” K. Matetzsc won the ABA Top 150 Solo Series Wildcard Tournament, Presented by Caymas Boats, held Sept. 9-10, 2022, on Ross Barnett Reservoir near Jackson, Miss. The anglers ran out of Madison Landing in Ridgeland, Miss. to fish the 33,000-acre impoundment. With two solid days of good fishing, Matetzsc from Blairsville, Ga. won the Wildcard by nearly three pounds. He finished with two daily 5-bass tournament limits to take the victory with 23.97 pounds.
