South Carolina Heads To Lake Murray
ATHENS, Ala. – The South Carolina Division of the Open Series will hold its Second event of the season on February 17, 2018 on Lake Murray. The competitors will launch from Dreher Island State Park Located at 3677 State Park Road Prosperity, SC. Anglers will begin fishing at 7:00 am or safe light until 3:00 PM.Registration will be at the ABA stage trailer located at Dreher Island State Park. Registration will run from 4:00 pm- 6:30pm with the pairings meeting to follow at 7:00 pm. Freedom pass Holders must call or text 256-497-0967 Friday 2-16-18 Between 4:00-6:30 pm to confirm you are fishing the event.
To enter anglers fishing the boater division pay $200.00 per single day events
with the co-anglers paying $100.00 for the single day events. The first place boater is guaranteed a minimum of $5000.00.Anglers fishing the boater division may weigh in up to five bass and the co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, Motorguide, T-H Marine and ABU Garcia. All anglers are required to have a valid South Carolina fishing license.
