Texas East Set to Open on Cedar Creek
ATHENS, Ala. – The Texas East Division of the 2019 Bass Pro Shops Open Series operated by American Bass Anglers will open February 9 2019, on Cedar Creek in Malakoff, TX.
The competitors will launch at Log Cabin Boat Ramp, 13603 Alamo Rd, Malakoff, TX 7514. Anglers may begin fishing at 6:45 a.m. or safe light. The weigh-in will begin at 3:00 p.m. Registration begins at 4 p.m. local time at Log Cabon Boat Ramp with the tournament briefing to begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening.

To enter, anglers fishing the Boater Division pay $210 with co-anglers paying $105. The payout for all events will be based on the number of entries, for one-day divisional events, $5000 will go to the winning boater based on a minimum of 60 boats, for each 2-day Area Championship $10,000 for boaters and $5,000 for co-anglers based on 100 boats. Anglers fishing the Boater Division may weigh in up to five bass, largemouth at least 14 inches long and spotted bass at least 12 inches long. Co-anglers may weigh in up to three bass with the same length requirements.
In addition to cash and prizes for top finishers, boater and co-angler competitors fishing this tournament and Bass Pro Shops Open Series events throughout the season may also win contingency bonuses from such sponsors as Triton Boats, Mercury Outboards, MotorGuide, T-H Marine, Nitro Boats, Tracker Marine, Berkley and Power Pole. 2020 Championship Old Hickory Lake
July 22, 2020, Athens, AL. The Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour 2020 Championship online registration will begin on July 27, 2020, at 8 am. This year’s championship will be on Old Hickory Lake in Gallatin, Tennessee Launching out of Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville, October 21, 22, and 23 with Sumner County Tourism hosting.

Athens, AL. The Bass Pro Shops Open Series Mississippi Division will host a double header on Ross Barnett in Jackson, MS August 8 and 9. The event will launch out of Madison Landing located at Madison Landing Circle, Ridgeland, MS.
Hopkins and Jenkins Take Team Tour Win on Old Hickory
The Team of John Hopkins and Tad Jenkins won the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour event held July 26th on Old Hickory. Running out of Flippers in Gallatin, TN John and Tad brought back a 5-fish limit to the scales that weighed in at 16.96-lbs. For the victory, they took home $3,600.
