JOSHUA PARRISH WINS D72 on SINCLAIR
Joshua Parrish of Rincon, Ga took home the first-place trophy and $755 cash for his day of fishing in the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tournament for D72 held on March 9, 2019, at Lake Sinclair. He brought a five fish limit to the scale that weighed 16.91-pounds. Joshua said he went way up the river and used a spinnerbait most of the day in shallow water. Joshua has fished all the twelve tournaments held in D72 for the 2019 season and is on track to take home the additional $100 offered by director Benny Howell for any angler fishing all of the D72 tournaments!
Les Charles finished in second place with five bass weighing 15.14-pounds, winning $478 and a trophy. He caught a lunker weighing 6.39-pounds to win an additional $185 cash and a trophy for Big Bass. Les likes to throw a spinnerbait but would not confirm the exact technique used to land this bass. He was happy to take home total earnings of $663 for a day of fishing.
Randall Woodham also brought a limit to the scale weighing 13.86-pounds to take the third place trophy and $212. Fourth place went to Niles Murray $159, fifth place to Gary Perrine $123, and sixth place to Lee Harrison $86.
The total payout for the tournament was $1,813 for participation by 37 anglers. Danny Taylor assisted with the tournament by checking boats in the morning and weighing fish at the scales in the afternoon.

After the awarding of trophies and cash payouts, there were drawings for the anglers present. Three $50 bills were won by Randy Bush, Jeff Ferrell, and Anthony Wooten. Oliver Brooks and Niles Murray won an 8-ounce bottle of G-Juice from T-H Marine.
The next tournament for D72 will be March 23, 2019 on Lake Sinclair going out of Dennis Station DNR ramp.

Billy Sipe Take the win on Badin Lake
Billy Sipe of Albemarle, NC is one step closer to the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win on Badin Lake on 03/16/2019. Sipe weighed in five bass, which weighed 16.31-pounds. Second place went to Don Sprinkle of Lexington, NC with five bass weighing 12.70-pounds. Third place went to John Orchard of Winston Salem, NC with four bass weighing in at 10.01-pounds. Fourth place went to Brent Walser of Welcome, NC with 3 bass weighing in at 8.20-pounds. Allen Yarborough & Sunni Glidewell win on Lay Lake
Allen Yarborough and Sunni Glidewell won the Bass Pro Shops Couples Series, operated by American Bass Anglers, Central Alabama Division 1 tournament, held February 23, 2019, on Lay Lake. Running out of the Narrow’s in Shelby, AL the team caught 5 bass weighing 19.45-pounds. For the victory, they earned a check for $500.00. Allen won Man’s Big Fish with a 5.45-pound large-mouth. They caught their fish flipping grass.
Eddie Glascock Wins $5000.00 on Kerr Lake
ATHENS, Ala. – Eddie Glascock of Scottsburg, VA won the Bass Pro Shops Open Series Virginia event held on Kerr Lake on 3/16/19. Running out of Nut Bush Park in Henderson, North Carolina Glascock weighed in a five bass limit totaling 19.87-pounds. His limit was anchored by a bass weighing 5.40-pounds. He took home a check for $5000.00 for the win.
Neely Henry Rescheduled due to flooding
Athens, AL 03/05/2019 - The Bass Pro Shops Team Tour Alabama North Neely Henry tournament scheduled for Saturday 3/9/2019 has been rescheduled due to high water levels and unsafe boating conditions. The lake is currently above flood level and not expected to recede enough prior to the event to be safe. Angler safety is our number one priority and in the best interest of our anglers the tournament has been rescheduled to April 14, 2019. The rescheduled tournament will still launch from Coosa Landing. Registration will be held on site at Coosa Landing at the ABA stage trailer 4:00-6:30 with safety briefing and partner pairing at 7:00 p.m.
