Harold Troutt Takes the win on Kentucky Lake
Harold Troutt of Buchanan, TN won the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour Division 32 tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Paris Landing Harold brought back 3-fish that locked in the scales at 9.32-lbs. For the victory, Harold took home a check for $425.
Second place was claimed by Marion Yahn with 1-fish for a total weight of 5.61-lbs, that fish also took big fish for the tournament. For his efforts, Marion took home a check for$212 plus the big fish pot.
Brian Peters took third with 2-fish and a total weight of 5.45-lbs.
The next tournament in this division will take place on 04/07/2019 launching from Paris Landing.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.
The American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All ABA anglers fish for money and points. Out of an over abundance of caution the Tournament scheduled for 10/10/2020 on Lake Mitchell has been moved to 10/11/2020. The safety of our anglers is out number one priorty. North GA Couples kicks off 2021 season with double header on Lake Lanier.
October 3 brought post frontal winds and bluebird skies, starting the day off with waning harvest moon. With some fall transition it made for some challenging fishing but beautiful weather to be on the lake. With 8 teams fishing there was only one limit brought to the scales but all others had at least one keeper to weigh, with exception of one team who had to leave lake early due to boat problems.

Team Tour Championship Postponed
Out of an overabundance of caution The Team Tour Championship that was scheduled for 10/10-11/2020 on Wheeler Lake has be postponed. The National Weather Service is forecasting winds of 10-20 mph with gust up to 35mph for Saturday, and winds of 10-15 mph with gust up to 20 mph Sunday. The safety of our anglers is the number on concern and factor when making the tough decisions on postponing a tournament.
