Jason Theis wins ABA Southeast Division 130 Tournament on Sutton Lake!
July 6, 2019 Wilmington, NC, Seven anglers launched from Sutton Lake ramp near Wilmington, NC. It was a slow day on the water but Jason Theis from Hubert, NC took the victory with 5 bass weighing 13.18 lbs. He also won the TWT. He attributed his to throwing Jerk baits. Jason took home $319 in prize money.
Second amongst the competitors braving the heat was Joseph High from Wilmington, NC with 3 bass weighing 9.63 lbs. Joseph won Big Fish with a STUD weighing 3.96 lbs. He took home $164 in prize money.
Third place was claimed by Jason Dew from Hallsboro, NC with 2 bass weighing 4.31 lbs.
Fourth place was claimed by Chris Savage from Lake Waccamaw, NC with 2 bass weighing 2.07 lbs.
Fifth place was claimed by Jeremie Lane from Delco, NC with 2 bass weighing 1.81 lbs.
Sixth place was claimed by Travis Hardin from Hampstead, NC with 2 bass weighing 1.80 lbs.
Seventh place was claimed by David Sasser from Holly Ridge, NC.
The next tournament in this division will take place on 7/27/19 launching from Durpee ramp in Lake Waccamaw, NC.

The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers BPSFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the BPSFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, BPSFT National Championship tournament.

New Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour Division Georgia Blue Ridge
Athens, AL November 13, 2020. Today American Bass Anglers announce the new American Fishing Tour Division 35 Georgia Blue Ridge division. Centered in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northern Georgia, the new division will hold competitions on Lake Blue Ridge, Chatuge, and Nottley. The division will be directed by Andrew Murphy and assisted by Stephen Young.
North GA Couples kicks off 2021 season with double header on Lake Lanier.
October 3 brought post frontal winds and bluebird skies, starting the day off with waning harvest moon. With some fall transition it made for some challenging fishing but beautiful weather to be on the lake. With 8 teams fishing there was only one limit brought to the scales but all others had at least one keeper to weigh, with exception of one team who had to leave lake early due to boat problems.

Team Tour Championship Postponed
Out of an overabundance of caution The Team Tour Championship that was scheduled for 10/10-11/2020 on Wheeler Lake has be postponed. The National Weather Service is forecasting winds of 10-20 mph with gust up to 35mph for Saturday, and winds of 10-15 mph with gust up to 20 mph Sunday. The safety of our anglers is the number on concern and factor when making the tough decisions on postponing a tournament. The new dates for the Team Tour Championship will be November 21-22 on Wheeler Lak
