2020 Bass Pro Shops 150 Series
11/04/2019 Athens, AL – American Bass Anglers announced today the launch of the second season of the Bass Pro Shops 150 Series. The 2020 Bass Pro Shops 150 Series is a team format providing competition for boat owners with 150hp - or smaller outboards. In 2020, there will be four qualifying events and a championship. Qualifying events will be held on Lake Lanier, Lake Wylie, Chickamauga and Ross Barnett. The Championship will be held on Wheeler Lake in Decatur, AL in late October.
With a $200 per team entry, each qualifying tournament will award the winner a new Bass Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW Bass Boat package* valued at $21,000.00. The Bass Pro Shops 150 Series Championship will offer two (2) Bass Tracker Pro Team 195 TX Boat packages* to the winning team valued at $60,000.00. The cash payout will be to the remaining top 20% of the field at all events.
Early VIP Registration will begin November 11, 2019 at 8am for both Nitro and Tracker owners. Owners of a 2019 and 2020 Nitro and Tracker boat with a 150hp or less will receive a one-year free membership when registering for any qualifying event.

What is the Bass Pro Shops 150 Series?
This is a Team Series where participation is limited to boats with 150hp motors or smaller. Both fiberglass or aluminum boats qualify (any brand).
There will be four (4) one-day events held in conjunction with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's locations.
1. Entry Fee $200
2. Payback will be a Bass Tracker Bass Boat package* for qualifying events and two Tracker Bass Boat packages* for the Championship plus a cash payback to the top 20% of the field.
3. The field is limited to bass boats with 150hp or smaller (see Rules).
4. No Pros or guides are allowed (Bass Elite or FLW Tour anglers, see Rules)
5. Draw prizes at registration meetings held at Bass Pro Shops
6. No Off-limits for qualifying events
7. On-Site Registration Meetings will be held on Fridays from 3pm to 6:30pm the afternoon before each tournament at the hosting Bass Pro Shops location.
8. *Sponsors may elect to change or modify prizes at any time at their discursion.
9. Important Requirements;

b. $10.00 (Optional Big Bass Pot)
c. Be an ABA Member
d. Open to all anglers who own a boat with a 150hp or smaller (see Rules).
e. Anglers must sign a Liability Release form
f. All events are subject to a Polygraph

Steve Dobbs Wins D72 on Sinclair
Steve Dobbs of McDonough, Ga brought the winning 5 fish limit to the scale for D72 on November 9, 2019, at Lake Sinclair for the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour. His total weight of 11.40 pounds won the First-place trophy and $765 cash. Steve secured his sack with a 3.78 pounder and won the Big Bass trophy plus additional cash of $380. He said he caught these fish using a square bill crankbait and a shaky head.
South Carolina Couple's Division Cancels 11/16 Tournament
For the safety of all our anglers, the South Carolina Couple's Divison 11 event on Lake Murray scheduled for November 16th has been canceled due to the predicted weather.

John Rice and Paul Arnold Take Home Two New Tritons at Chickamauga
John Rice of Huntsville, Al and Paul Arnold of Woodville, Al. won the Bass Pro Shops Team Tour Championship, held October 5th and 6th on Lake Chickamauga. Launching out of Dayton Boat Dock and Grill. John and Paul went straight to work and caught a two-day limit of 10 bass weighing 36.51 pounds. For their victory, the team took home 2 Triton TX-17 boats equipped with 60 HP Mercury outboards and Garmin electronics valued at $40,000.
