John Simonof Wins the ABA District 47 2-Day Championship on Lake Ouachita
The Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour D47 held its 2020 season 2-day Championship on 30-31 May 2020 on Lake Ouachita launching from the Crystal Springs ramp. Great weather had a lot of boats out on the water, but the fishing was a bit tough. John threw a crankbait, with Owner replacement hooks, on a TFO crankbait rod spooled up with 10# Hi-Seas Quattro Fluorocarbon line to fill his livewell. Additionally, John earned the Angler of the Year title for D47.
Moose McCoy sacked up six fish weighing 10.45 lbs. Moose fished a Zoom Brush Hog to catch his fish.
Moose McCoy caught the big bass of day 1 at 2.74 lbs.
