Scott Tassi Takes the win on Stockton
Hot and not much wind didn't keep Division 126 ABA anglers from finding the fish Sunday, June 14, 2020. Twelve limits weighed in, the top two within ounces of each other. Scott Tassi won with 15.36 lbs followed by Austin Lowrey with 15.20 lbs. Both reported catching fish out of the bushes. Third place went to new member, Kelly White with 13.78 lbs. Big Bass was caught by Matt Roberts-5.16 lbs. Roberts won cash and the Heritage Tractor Big Bass $25 gift card.

October 18-23 is the AFT National Championship on Old Hickory Lake, TN where two fully rigged Triton/Mercury packages will be awarded. One will go to the winner of the tournament; one will go to the highest finishing Angler of the Year.
American Bass Anglers is a national tournament circuit with divisions is 40 states. One membership allows anglers to fish in any division as well as any of the ABA circuits. Division 126 is a part of the American Fishing Tour which is designed for the week-end angler using a draw format. Boaters and non-boaters from age 14 are welcome. These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional Angler of the Year (AOY) title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers (ABA) Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour (BPSFT) Angler of The Year (AOY) Final Round at the BPSFT National Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, BPSFT National Championship tournament.
The Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All anglers fish for both money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the U.S. are invited to the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour (BPSFT) National Championship.

Kerr Reservoir to Host the 2021 AFT Championship
ATHENS, Ala. – October 27, 2020 -- American Bass Anglers announced today the 2021 American Fishing Tour Championship will be hosted by Mecklenburg County Tourism and will take place Oct. 17-22, 2021, on Kerr Reservoir in Mecklenburg County, Virginia.
North GA Couples kicks off 2021 season with double header on Lake Lanier.
October 3 brought post frontal winds and bluebird skies, starting the day off with waning harvest moon. With some fall transition it made for some challenging fishing but beautiful weather to be on the lake. With 8 teams fishing there was only one limit brought to the scales but all others had at least one keeper to weigh, with exception of one team who had to leave lake early due to boat problems.

Team Tour Championship Postponed
Out of an overabundance of caution The Team Tour Championship that was scheduled for 10/10-11/2020 on Wheeler Lake has be postponed. The National Weather Service is forecasting winds of 10-20 mph with gust up to 35mph for Saturday, and winds of 10-15 mph with gust up to 20 mph Sunday. The safety of our anglers is the number on concern and factor when making the tough decisions on postponing a tournament. The new dates for the Team Tour Championship will be November 21-22 on Wheeler Lak
