Tony Lozipone takes the win on Graham Tx
Dec 12, Wichita Falls, TX: Tony Lozipone of Iowa Park TX won the American Fishing Tour Div 112, Wichita Falls TX tournament presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of the Eddleman ramp near Graham TX. Tony brought back 5 bass that locked in the scales at 19.44 anchored by a 6.87 kicker. For the victory, Tony took home a check for $745.00.
Tony was fishing jigs around rocks and cattails and throwing deep diving crankbaits around rocks and channels on a PRIDE Competition Series 7’3” medium-heavy rod.
Second place was claimed by Brian Loper with 5 bass and a total weight of 15.44. For his efforts Brian took home $470.00 in prize money.
Robert Stripling took third with 5 fish and a total weight of 13.83 and took home $203.00 in prize money.
The Biggest Bass of the tournament was caught by Tony Lozipone. His fish locked in the scales at 6.87 earning him $360.00.

The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.
The American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All anglers fish for both money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the American Fishing Tour National Championship for this fall on Kerr Lake in Virginia.

North GA Couples kicks off 2021 season with double header on Lake Lanier.
October 3 brought post frontal winds and bluebird skies, starting the day off with waning harvest moon. With some fall transition it made for some challenging fishing but beautiful weather to be on the lake. With 8 teams fishing there was only one limit brought to the scales but all others had at least one keeper to weigh, with exception of one team who had to leave lake early due to boat problems.
Bass Pro Shops Open Series Coming To Lake Okeechobee
Athens, AL - The south Florida division of the Bass Pro Shops Open Series will hold their first tournament of the season on Lake Okeechobee. On Saturday, January 23, 2021, the tournament will be out of Clewiston, FL, launching out of the framed Roland Martin Marina and Resort.
It will be interesting to see how much Okeechobee has changed since last January. On this same weekend last year, Scott Kirsch of Edgewater, FL, won the boater side of the event with a five-fish limit of 18 pounds. Mason Meder won the Co-Angler side of the event with a three-fish limit of 10.91 pounds.
Team Tour Championship Postponed
Out of an overabundance of caution The Team Tour Championship that was scheduled for 10/10-11/2020 on Wheeler Lake has be postponed. The National Weather Service is forecasting winds of 10-20 mph with gust up to 35mph for Saturday, and winds of 10-15 mph with gust up to 20 mph Sunday. The safety of our anglers is the number on concern and factor when making the tough decisions on postponing a tournament. The new dates for the Team Tour Championship will be November 21-22 on Wheeler Lak
