Nic Brown Takes the win on Seminole
Nic Brown from Chattahooche, Fl,is one step closer to the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour National Championship with a first place win in the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour Seminole Division 114 bass tournament held on Lake Seminole May 15 & 16, 2021. Nic’s limit weighed in at 28.27 pounds. Big Bass was awarded to Chip Rockhill for catching a 5.42 lb large mouth.
These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in to the Bass Pro Shops Fishing Tour National Championship. Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.
The top six anglers were:
1. Nic Brown 28.27 lbs.
2. Chris Lynch 27.43 lbs.
3. Joe Powell 26.79 lbs.
4. Lee McVay 22.50 lbs.
5. Len Lindahl 20.71 lbs.
6. Chip Rockhill 14.75 lbs.
Conditions: The day was warm with plenty of sunshine! The lake water was stained.
Winning Strategy: Nic's pattern was junk fishing 101! He had to use every lure to catch them!

Heintz Takes the Win on Grand Lake
Twelve anglers launched from the Tera Miranda ramp on Monkey Island near Grove, OK. Seven of those anglers brought back five-fish limits to the scales, but when the scales closed Curtis Heintz from Olathe, KS, took the victory with a total weight of 17.64 lbs including a 5.95 lb. black bass for Big Bass honors. He accredited his win to just fishing deep. For the win, Heintz took home over $500 in prize money.

Richard B. Russell State Park on Lake Russell was the site of the final 2020-2021 tournament for the SC Couples trail on May 15, 2021 followed by the year-end banquet and awards presentation.
Durden Wins at Lake Oconee
ATHENS, Ala. –Bradley Durden won the 2021 Bass Pro Shops Open Series Georgia Division tournament, held June 5th on Oconee.
Running out of Sugar Creek Marina in Buckhead, GA the Atlanta, GA angler caught a limit weighing 14.41 pounds including a big bass that weighed 5.44-pounds.
Team Tour Championship Postponed
Out of an overabundance of caution The Team Tour Championship that was scheduled for 10/10-11/2020 on Wheeler Lake has be postponed. The National Weather Service is forecasting winds of 10-20 mph with gust up to 35mph for Saturday, and winds of 10-15 mph with gust up to 20 mph Sunday. The safety of our anglers is the number on concern and factor when making the tough decisions on postponing a tournament. The new dates for the Team Tour Championship will be November 21-22 on Wheeler Lak
