Heintz Takes the Win on Grand Lake
Twelve anglers launched from the Tera Miranda ramp on Monkey Island near Grove, OK. Seven of those anglers brought back five-fish limits to the scales, but when the scales closed Curtis Heintz from Olathe, KS, took the victory with a total weight of 17.64 lbs including a 5.95 lb. black bass for Big Bass honors. He accredited his win to just fishing deep. For the win, Heintz took home over $500 in prize money.
Second amongst the competitors was Rob Emery of Coweta, OK, with five fish that locked in the scales at 15.02 lbs. For his efforts, Emery took home $175 in prize money.
