Tony French Wins On Stockton
Division 126 American Bass Anglers had to endure several hours of rain Saturday, June 26 on Stockton Lake. In spite of the adverse weather conditions, most of them were able to weigh-in 5-fish limits. Topping the leader board was Ft. Scott angler, Tony French with a total weight of 12.83 lbs. Scott Tassi was close behind with 12.75 lbs and Austin Lowrey with 12.68 lbs. Ethan Jahay and Mark Moody finished out the top five with 12.43 lbs and 12.35 lbs respectively. Big Bass went to Mike Dill with a 4.71 largemouth; 2nd BB was 3.81 caught by Tony French.
A Stockton Lake ABA Champion and Angler of the Year will be determined at the end of the season using a point system. The race for these two honors and the prizes that come with them is very tight right now and the points change after each tournament. Scott Tassi is leading in points for both of those positions. D126 holds tournaments about every month on Stockton Lake. The next tournament is scheduled for July 24, 2021 launching from the Old State Park. Anglers compete for cash, prizes and points which qualify them to fish the D126 2-day Championship scheduled for September 9-10, 2021. The ABA National Championship will be help on Kerr Lake, Virginia October 20-23, 2021.

American Bass Anglers is a National Trail with almost 40 Divisions across the country. It is run in draw format. Boaters and non-boaters from age 14 are encouraged to compete. The American Fishing Tour offers low cost, close to home bass tournaments that are designed for the weekend angler. All anglers fish for both money and points. The points advance the angler to their divisional championship and the top 500 anglers in the US are invited to the American Fishing Tour National Championship for this fall on Kerr Lake in Virginia.

Andrew Skinner Takes the win on the Chowan River
Thanks to all the anglers that came out and fished the ABA Division 17 tournament on the Chowan River this past weekend. It was a hot day on the water and tough fishing for a lot of angler due to the water still being high from the tropical storm that went through a couple days earlier.
Helton takes win on Lake Chickamauga
Thomas F Helton won the 2021 bass Pro Shop Open Series East Tennessee Division Tournament, held July 10, 2021 on Lake Chickamauga. This was the final 1 day tournament for the season, we had 29 boaters and 16 co-anglers.Running out of Dayton Boat Dock an Grill, Dayton Tn.
Team Tour Championship Postponed
Out of an overabundance of caution The Team Tour Championship that was scheduled for 10/10-11/2020 on Wheeler Lake has be postponed. The National Weather Service is forecasting winds of 10-20 mph with gust up to 35mph for Saturday, and winds of 10-15 mph with gust up to 20 mph Sunday. The safety of our anglers is the number on concern and factor when making the tough decisions on postponing a tournament. The new dates for the Team Tour Championship will be November 21-22 on Wheeler Lak
