Steve Lindsey Wins on Tensaw River
November 19, 2022, Mobile, AL: Steve Lindsey of Grand Bay, Alabama won the American Fishing Tour Division 41 tournament presented on November 19, 2022, by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Cliff’s Landing Boat Launch near Bay Minette, AL, Lindsey brought back five with a total weight of 12.21 pounds. His catch was anchored by a 4.00-pound kicker. For the victory, Lindsey took home $478 and another $85 for Big Bass.
Second place was claimed by Scott Wiley Jr with five fish that locked in the scales at 11.13 pounds. For his efforts, Wiley took home $268 in prize money.
Michael Hardin took third with five and a total weight of 10.63 pounds and took home $86 in prize money.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship. Ben & Ashley Sutton Take the win on Lake Russell
November 12, 2022, Elberton, Georgia. Ben & Ashley Sutton of Warrenville, SC won the 2nd American Couples Series South Carolina Division tournament of the 2023 season presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Richard B. Russell State Park near Elberton, GA. Ben & Ashley brought back 5 bass that locked in the scales at 13.10 pounds anchored by a 3.01-pound kicker. For the victory, Ben & Ashley took home a check for $878.
2023 Open Series Registration
November 7, Athens, AL. Registration will open on November 14, 2022, for the 2023 Open Series. The 2023 season will offer 16 divisions, Alabama North, Alabama South, Florida Central, Florida South, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee Central, Tennessee East, Texas East, Texas Southeast, and Virginia. Each of these divisions will offer four one-day Divisional qualifying events and one two-day Divisional Championship.
2023 Top 150 Solo Series Opens Registrations Monday
ATHENS, Ala. – After a highly successful second season in which Rusty White, Jr. from Soddy Daisy, Tenn. won the inaugural American Bass Anglers Top 150 Solo Series Championship, Presented by Caymas Boats, anglers look forward to the 2023 season. Registration will open for all 2022 Season Contenders Monday, October 17, 2022.
