Mark Hensiek Wins on the Arkansas River
November 19, 2022, Pine Bluff, AR. Mark Hensiek of England, AR won the Arkansas Division 47 second event of the year. Hensiek brought a limit to the scales weighing 15.63 pounds. Mark also, had the biggest bass at 5.32 pounds and commented most of his fish came off a Jig. Mark took home $461 for the win and big bass.
In second place, Rob Stone had a five (5) fish limit that weighed 13.19 and also said most of his fish came off a jig.

Ben & Ashley Sutton Take the win on Lake Russell
November 12, 2022, Elberton, Georgia. Ben & Ashley Sutton of Warrenville, SC won the 2nd American Couples Series South Carolina Division tournament of the 2023 season presented by American Bass Anglers. Running out of Richard B. Russell State Park near Elberton, GA. Ben & Ashley brought back 5 bass that locked in the scales at 13.10 pounds anchored by a 3.01-pound kicker. For the victory, Ben & Ashley took home a check for $878.
2023 Open Series Registration
November 7, Athens, AL. Registration will open on November 14, 2022, for the 2023 Open Series. The 2023 season will offer 16 divisions, Alabama North, Alabama South, Florida Central, Florida South, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee Central, Tennessee East, Texas East, Texas Southeast, and Virginia. Each of these divisions will offer four one-day Divisional qualifying events and one two-day Divisional Championship.
2023 Top 150 Solo Series Opens Registrations Monday
ATHENS, Ala. – After a highly successful second season in which Rusty White, Jr. from Soddy Daisy, Tenn. won the inaugural American Bass Anglers Top 150 Solo Series Championship, Presented by Caymas Boats, anglers look forward to the 2023 season. Registration will open for all 2022 Season Contenders Monday, October 17, 2022.
