Byron Kenney Wins on Oconee

November 26, 2022, Buckhead, GA. Georgia Central Division 72 of the American Fishing Tour presented by Caymas Boats held on Lake Oconee located in Buckhead, GA. Byron Kenney of Monticello, GA  brought in a limit of bass weighing 14.80 pounds to put $819 cash in his pocket and win the first place trophy. 

Chris Saunders of Forsyth, GA won the Big Bass trophy and $520 cash for the optional big bass pot with a 6.04 pounder!    

Mike Beck of Hull, GA finished in second place with a total weight of 13.74 pounds which included a 6.00 pounder.  

The field consisted of 52 anglers competing for the top 8 places to win payouts totaling $2,548.  Congratulations to the Top Ten:

Special thanks go to Danny Taylor and Bob Clark for helping with the tournament.   After the awards of trophies and cash payouts, six $50 bills were given as draw prizes to the anglers present.  The lucky winners were Randy Smith, Benji Morris, Marty George, Robert Bennett, Carl Hayes and Randy Woodham.   The draw prize for a $50 gift card to Sugar Creek Marina was won by Buck Eubanks.

Our next tournament in this division will be December 10, 2022 on Lake Oconee running out of Sugar Creek Marina.
