Hoefle Wins Division 24 Championship
May 7, 2023, Prattville, AL. Richard Hoefle of Ozark, AL (pictured left), won the American Fishing Tour District 24 Two-Day Divisional Championship. Hoefle brought back a two-day total that locked in the scales at 22.97 pounds and included the Big Bass for Day 1 at 3.75 pounds. For the victory, Hoefle took home $812 with an additional $70 for Big Bass.
Second place for the two-day tournament was claimed by Karl Youngblood with a total weight of 19.49 pounds. For his efforts, Youngblood took home $400 in prize money.
Third place was Joseph Clevinger with a two-day total of 17.94 pounds that earned him $158.
Christian Bladen took home $70 for Big Bass on the second day of the tournament with a 4.63 pounder earning him $70.Day 1 was held on Jordan Lake running out of the State Ramp near Wetumpka, Alabama while Day 2 was held on the Alabama River launching from Cooters Pond Park near Prattville, Alabama.
