T-H Marine Joins Forces with Captains For Clean Water, Promising Donations

Fort Myers, FL – May 25, 2023 – T-H Marine Supplies, LLC, a division of OneWater Marine (ONEW), based in Huntsville, Alabama, is pleased to announce it has partnered with Captains For Clean Water, located in Fort Myers, Florida, as part of its ongoing commitment to conservation efforts. T-H Marine will provide financial support through a flat donation as well as a percentage of all Atlas Awards membership proceeds.

“Captains For Clean Water is truly a remarkable force of conservation and habitat restoration,”  T-H Marine CEO, Jeff Huntley, said. “From the individual fishing guides who started it to the progress they’ve already made, they provide an amazing example of natural resource stewardship and we’re proud to join them.”

Captains For Clean Water was established in 2016 by a group of fishing guides who witnessed the devastating effects of poor water management practices on their local estuaries. This grassroots 501(c)3 nonprofit organization strives to protect water resources and has united various stakeholders, including the outdoor industry, environmental groups, the business community, and concerned citizens, to advocate for science-based solutions to ensure cleaner waterways. Their efforts have resulted in tangible improvements in water volume, quality and the restoration of natural habitats.

“We’re super fortunate to have T-H Marine’s support,” Captains For Clean Water Co-Founder Daniel Andrews said. “We know they’ve long-demonstrated concern for the worthy cause of conservation and we’re glad to have them involved in the fight to save the Everglades.”

T-H Marine's partnership with Captains For Clean Water is a long-term commitment. The company has pledged 10% of all Atlas Awards Membership proceeds, in addition to designated donations from T-H Marine's general fund. This collaboration complements T-H Marine's existing sustainability initiatives, including event sponsorships, the production of catch and release tournament products, and donation opportunities during purchases.

As a result, they recognize that progress has been made at a record pace since 2016, but much more must be done to ensure that future generations can enjoy these natural resources.
