Jason Hamaker Wins On Lake Mitchell

Clanton, AL - October 21, 2023 - Jason Hamaker, hailing from Pelham, AL, emerged triumphant in the American Fishing Tour Division 24 tournament, presented by CAYMAS Boats, held at Lake Mitchell. Departing from Higgins Ferry Park near Clanton, AL, Hamaker reeled in a five-fish haul, totaling an impressive 12.66 pounds. His outstanding performance earned him the first-place title.

In a closely contested match, second place was claimed by Jason Nixon, who also landed five fish with a cumulative weight of 12.54 pounds, securing him a prize.

Jeremy Renfroe took the third spot, catching five fish weighing a total of 11.74 pounds.

Notably, David Campassi secured the coveted title of catching the Big Bass of the tournament, with a 4.38-pound bass.
