2024 ABA Team Series Schedules
November 9, 2023, Athens, AL. American Bass Anglers announces the 2024 ABA Team Series Schedules. For 2024 there will be 13 divisions covering the Midwest, and Southeast and one in the Northeast. These include Alabama North, Alabama Central, Alabama/Georgia South, Florida Central, Florida South, Georgia North, Georgia/South Carolina Line, Illinois, Mississippi Gulf Coast, Missouri, Tennessee East, Virginia, divisions, and one soon to be announced in the Northeast.
For 2024, the Team Series offers six events in each division, with five one-day qualifying tournaments and a two-day Divisional Championship. Teams will accrue points at each event with their four best one-days combined with their best two-day Divisional Championship determining their national ranking. Teams four best one-days combined with the team’s Divisional Championship all fished within the same division will determine their divisional point standings.
The top teams based on national standings at the end of the season will be invited to compete in the ABA Team Series Championship which will be held in the spring of 2025 and will include a new CAYMAS Bass Boat CX18 with a 150hp Mercury Outboard.
The entry fee for each Divisional qualifying, Divisional Championship, and National Championship events is $150, which includes big bass. A package entry for all (6) events for each division is $900. Priority registration for the 2024 season online will begin Monday, November 13, 2023, at 8 a.m. CT. Priority registration is reserved for current ABA members and CAYMAS Boat Owners who pay for all events in a division.
Package Priority registration for the 2024 season online will begin Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 8 a.m. CT. All anglers may begin registering for package entries by paying for all six events within a division ($900 total).
Beginning at 8:00 a.m. CST on Thursday, November 16, 2023, teams may secure their position by paying a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $450.00 (six events) in a division. The remaining balance of $450.00 must be paid on or before 10 days prior to the first event in that division.
General Online Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

The payout is an equitable payout meaning it is not a top-loaded payout and is balanced and equitable through the top 20% of teams at an event. Alabama North will offer a very competitive season as teams travel across north Alabama to compete on Guntersville, Pickwick, Neely Henry, and Wheeler Lake. George Kunkle is the tournament director with 20-plus years of experience and is also an ABA Hall of Fame member.

Deacon Collins, a long-time ABA Director, Hall of Fame Member, and one of the first Caymas Boat owners will be the director of this division and is assisted by Chris Lynch.

These lakes are known for the big and fierce fishing Spotted Bass as well as lunker-sized largemouth. Michael Donaldson, who has been running ABA Events for many years, is the director of this division and brings a lot of experience.

Henry Montgomery, the owner of BLANPRO Bait and Tackle located in Green Cove Springs and current ABA Director will lead the Florida Central Division. The division will compete on three of the most iconic and well-known lakes in the US the Toho (Tohopekaliga), St Johns River, and the Harris Chain.

9/21-22/2024 Harris Chain Hickory PointThe Florida South division will use four bodies of water for 2024 all of which anglers know very well Toho, Kissimmee Chain, Okeechobee, and Minneola. While Minneola may be lesser known, however, it is a fabulous chain of lakes located just outside of Orlando in Clermont. The director of this division is Rick Southerland and is well-known throughout central and south Florida.

8/31-9/01/2024 Glenn Shoals - Lou Yeager North Access RampThis Mississippi Coast is unique for bass fishing and has some of the best waters for black bass in the nation. This division will concentrate on four bodies of water the Pearl River, Jourdan River, Back Bay, and the Pascagoula River. One example of the unique fishing found in this division is the Jourdan River. The Jourdan River is a major coastal river that brings fresh water to the Gulf of Mexico. It is a tidally influenced freshwater river, with lots of scattered cypress/gum swamp trees that is a fish factory.
This division is directed by Joel Davis, an experienced ABA tournament director and well known through the Mississippi Coast and social media, in the fishing industry, and is also a Civil Designer.The Mississippi Gulf Coast Schedule

12/14-15/2024 Bull Shoals TBABack on Old Rocky Top, the Tennessee East division will fish eastern and southern lakes in Tennessee. Chickamauga, Nickajack, and Watts Bar are each known, and each offers some of the best bass fishing in the country. Directed by Chris Hamby, the division will kick off its season on Chickamauga, one of the hottest lakes in the country well known for five fish limits that have broken the 30-pound mark. Chris is still working on his schedule, and it will be released as soon as possible.

Coming SoonOn the East Coast in Virginia on the North Carolina Border, Kerr Lake is one of the most competitive lakes in that region. Everyone has heard of the famed Buggs Island which is the old school name for Kerr Lake. Long-time director Elvin Jennings is the director of the Buggs Island division.
