Gibson Wins on Tensaw River
On November 18, 2023, in Mobile, Alabama, Jakob Gibson from Uriah, Alabama, took the victory in the American Fishing Tour Division 41 tournament. The event, which launched from Cliff’s Landing Boat Launch near Bay Minette, AL, saw Gibson secure first place with five fish, weighing a total of 14.96 pounds. His catch was highlighted by a 4.24 big bass. For his performance, Gibson was awarded a prize of $401, along with an additional $60 for the largest bass catch of the tournament.
Gene Latham earned second place, presenting five fish with a combined weight of 10.66 pounds. Latham's skillful angling earned him a prize of $187.
