What is the Top 150 Solo?

The Top 150 Solo Series offers a unique challenge where anglers compete individually. It’s an opportunity for anglers to prove their skills and adaptability, making it a thrilling experience for all involved.

How does the Top 150 Solo work?

The league comprises four divisions, each hosting three one-day Divisional qualifying events. Anglers compete individually, accumulating points based on their performance in these events.

What is the entry fee for the Top 150 Solo tournaments?

The entry fee for each event is $625, which includes big bass.

What is a Package Registration?

When you register for the first event of the season in a division, you can choose to register for a Package, which registers you in all of the events in that division for 2024. Package registration includes registration into the three one-day division events.

The cost of a package registration for one division is $1,875, and for a period of time, you may register by paying a deposit, which is $900, and the other half ($975) would be due by or before January 26, 2023, or 14 business days prior to the first event in your division only for divisions with events before January 26, 2024. Do I have to pay a membership fee? (Join Now)

Yes, ABA membership is $50. Memberships work for 365 days from the purchase date, so if you join on 11/30/2023 it will be valid until 11/30/2024. There are also options for multiple-year membership that save you membership cost.

What are the payouts like in the Top 150 Solo Series?

Each divisional event spans two days of competition, with all anglers fishing solo on both days. With a full field of 150 anglers, first place pays $20,000. In cases where the event has fewer than 150 participants, payouts are based on total participation.

How does the league ensure integrity and fair play?

Truth verification will be implemented at events, ensuring a level playing field for all participants.

Will I receive a confirmation for my entry?

Yes, you will immediately receive a receipt showing your registration. Additionally, ABA will send you a confirmation; however, we do these in batches, so it may not be sent immediately.

With the Events being two days, which days do anglers fish?

Events are held on Friday and Saturday; all anglers fish on both days.

When will I get my boat number for the event I’m registered for?

Just after the safety and registration meeting that will be held the night before the event. Typically it’s around 7 pm.

When are registration meetings held onsite at events?

Each angler must register in person at the designated place during official onsite registration hours, 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm (local time), the day prior to the event.

Are there any off-limits?

There will be no off-limits for individual events. However, there will be an off-limits period for the Championship. Official practice for Divisional events will be Monday through Thursday, the week of the event.

Will I need to pay for big bass?

No, it is part of the entry you pay.

How do anglers qualify for the Championship?

The top 15 anglers from each division by points will be invited to fish the 2024 National Championship, to be held at a location to be announced soon. 

How do anglers earn national points?

Divisional Events – These events are worth 250 points to first-place anglers. Points will be awarded in 1-point decreasing increments. Contestants not weighing fish will receive 50 points.
