He works as a technical trainer at Ball Corporation and lives by a simple but powerful priority list: God, Family, and Fishing—in that order.

Augustus’s fishing journey began as a kid on a bicycle, casting into nearby creeks around the house. That early curiosity evolved into a competitive drive that now sees him traveling the Southeast with a 20-foot bass boat. He currently competes in the ABA Team Series, local clubs, Tuesday night tournaments, and various open events. His competitive edge has led to multiple ABA wins and several local victories on renowned fisheries like Guntersville, Lake Lanier, and many others in between.

More than just the thrill of the competition, Augustus finds peace and perspective on the water—marveling at God’s creation and studying fish patterns. He’d have a flipping stick and a frog rod on deck if limited to just two rods. But at the end of the day, he’ll use whatever technique gives him the best shot at a win. For Augustus, success is about progress—learning something new every time out and getting just a little bit better with each cast.

Follow Gus on:
Facebook
Instagram
YouTube

Augustus Adcock, 29, lives in Adairsville, Georgia, with his wife Paige and their two children, Presley (9) and Gunner (4), with baby boy number three on the way.
