This award is based on a detailed points system that rewards strong finishes throughout the season and culminates at the National Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Points System Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>One-Day Divisional Events:<\/strong><br>First-place teams earn <strong>250 points<\/strong>, with a 1-point decrease per position. Teams not weighing fish receive <strong>100 show points<\/strong>. While teams can fish as many one-day events as they wish, only their <strong>best four finishes<\/strong> will count toward their total.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Two-Day Divisional Championships:<\/strong><br>These events award <strong>500 points<\/strong> to first place, decreasing by 2 points per position. Teams not weighing fish receive <strong>200 points<\/strong>. Only the <strong>best two-day finish<\/strong> is included in the final points tally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Rankings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Championship Eligibility:<\/strong><br>Teams must fish a <strong>minimum of four one-day events<\/strong> to qualify for a <strong>two-day Divisional Championship<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Divisional TOY:<\/strong><br>Each division\u2019s TOY is determined by points earned in <strong>four one-day events<\/strong> and the <strong>two-day championship<\/strong> within that division.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Team of the Year Title<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All <strong>Divisional TOY teams<\/strong> are invited to compete in the <strong>ABA Team Series National Championship<\/strong>. The <strong>highest-finishing TOY team<\/strong> at this event will be crowned the <strong>ABA Team Series Team of the Year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tiebreaker<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>24.8&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; TIEBREAKERS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ties will be broken using the following criteria:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>a)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The largest number of legal fish weighed.<br>b)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The largest number of legal live fish weighed.&nbsp;<br>c)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Most Accumulative weight for the year<br>d)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; If the tie is not broken by applying the preceding procedures, place monies will be split evenly, and place points will be awarded accordingly. Event winners\u2019 tiebreakers may result in a fish-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Team of the Year Prize<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">As a reward for their outstanding performance, the Team of the Year will receive a&nbsp;free package entry for the 2026 ABA Team Series season of their choic<\/span>e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Package entry consists of four one-day team events and one divisional championship entry fee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>This system rewards consistency, skill, and dedication, giving teams across the country a fair and competitive path to one of ABA\u2019s most respected titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Who&#8217;s in the race at the 2025 Team Championship &#8211; Each of the following teams has fished a minimum of four one-day events and one two-day
