Big Bass<\/strong>\u00a0$10 per day
Membership:<\/strong>\u00a0$50 per angler.\u00a0Exemptions include Life Members, Visiting Directors, and Active Military.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marina\/Launch Site:<\/strong> Leesburg Landing at 100 Riverside Street, Leesburg, AL 35983<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Off-limits:<\/strong> Midnight May 10th<\/sup> through Safelight May 16th<\/sup>  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Official Practice Days:<\/strong> May 16th<\/sup> through May 20th<\/sup> at 3PM CST<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Official Tournament Days:<\/strong> May 21, 22, 23<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On-Site Registration<\/strong> \u2013 3:00-5:00 pm – Wednesday, May 20th<\/sup> – FEMA Building next to the Town Hall – 215 Industrial Blvd, Leesburg, AL 35983. (DD214 or Military ID will be checked)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onsite Mandatory Briefing and Dinner:<\/u> 5:30 pm <\/strong>Wednesday, May 20th<\/sup> – FEMA Building next to the Town Hall – 215 Industrial Blvd, Leesburg, AL 35983<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thur<\/span>sday,<\/strong>\u00a0May 21st \u2013 Take off at Safelight with a weigh-in at 3pm.\u00a0
Friday,<\/strong> May 22nd<\/sup> \u2013 Take off at safe light with weigh-in at 3pm.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong>
Saturday, <\/strong>May 23 \u2013 Take off at safe light with weigh-in at 2pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creel Limit<\/u><\/strong>: The official length – 15in for Largemouth and 12in for Spotted bass.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

License Information<\/u>: <\/strong>Alabama fishing license required.   (Weiss Lake does not<\/strong> have a reciprocal agreement)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alabama Boater Safety Certificate<\/u><\/strong>:<\/strong> Effective October 1, 2024:<\/strong> Nonresidents may operate a vessel upon the waters of this state only after obtaining a valid boater safety certification or vessel operator’s certification issued in his or her home state or country, or after obtaining a Nonresident Alabama Boater Safety Certification upon examination and certification under the same terms and conditions as Alabama residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All boat owners must provide a copy of their insurance declaration noting a minimum of $100,000 liability insurance.  Failure to register onsite will result in disqualification.  If, for some reason, you will be unable to attend or have changes, please contact American Bass Anglers as soon as possible at (256)232-0406 or email us at info@americanbassanglers.com.  Proper military identification must be presented at time of registration.  Please read the rules and be aware of them! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
