Lane Worsham of Baconton, GA. takes the win at the AFT D74 tournament held at Lake Blackshear on 11 March 2023. His three bass tipped the scales at 14.68 pounds to take first place for $451 cash. Lane didn\u2019t get a limit, but with almost a five-pound average he was able to pull away with the win. He said that he caught his fish early on crankbait.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Second place prize of $254 was claimed by Jimmie Troxell with five fish for a total weight of 12.88 pounds. He anchored his catch with a 5.44 pounder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coming in third was Dewayne Smith with a five fish weighing at 12.66 pounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fourth place was taken by Jimmy Parker with four fish weighing in at 11.70 pounds. Parker took \u201cBig Fish\u201d with a 6.05-pound lunker for $160 cash prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finishing in fifth was Jon Stokes with four fish weighing in at 10.05 pounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The morning started out cool but quickly warmed up to around 68 degrees by weigh-in. The wind didn\u2019t help most of the anglers.
