The Series is made up of over 80 divisions that each hold\u00a06-10 events in the local community. These events are strictly for the weekend bass angler and guides and pros are not allowed to compete in this series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The entry fee is $70 for a one-day event and $140 for a two-day division championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key Elements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Low Entry Fee ($70 one-day, $140 two-day)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Draw Format<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring your boat, use your boat!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Close to home events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best four one-day events + your best two-day event is the basis of your national standings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best four one-day events + two-day event\u00a0within\u00a0a division is the basis of your divisional standings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each Division\u2019s AOY is invited to compete in the year-end Angler of the Year competition held at the National Championship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No meetings the night before, just show up at the ramp at 5:00 am local time.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payout 1 place per 7 anglers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The top 500 at the end of the season are invited to the American Fishing Tour Championship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The American Fishing Tour (AFT) is a draw format tournament series.
