Running out of South Cove park in Seneca South Carolina, the Townville South Carolina angler weighed in a five bass limit weighing 15.66 lbs. For his win Childers took home $3200.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I caught most of my fish on a jig fishing anywhere from 6-20 feet. Other baits I caught fish on were a blade runner and a shaky head said Childers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking second place, Cody Hoyle of Rutherfordton, NC weighed in a five bass limit weighing 15.14 lbs. He earned $1500.00 for the effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steven Ricker of Greenville, SC placed third with a five bass limit weighing 14.97 lbs.
He received $1000.00 for his finish. Ricker also weighed in the biggest bass of the event with a fish that weighed 5.08lbs. He took home an additional $400.00 for his bass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My day didn\u2019t start out too well, by 1:00 I only had three fish. I just ran and hit as many spots as I could. I think I ended up catching seven fish and my biggest fish came on a swimbait at about 15 feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finishing fourth Gregory Glouse of Liberty, SC weighed in a five bass limit weighing 14.59 lbs. and rounding out the top five, Keith Westrick of Marietta, Ga weighed in a five bass limit weighing 14.44 lbs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the season, the best anglers from across the nation will advance to the 2024 Ray Scott Champoinship to be held at Lake Eufaula in April 2025.
