How Brian started fishing

I started fishing on lakes and streams in and around Michigan. I fished for yellow perch, walleyes, smallmouth bass, trout and salmon. I started fishing tournaments in 2004 after returning from Iraq.

I finished 3rd during the Bassmaster Weekend Series using jigs and drop shot in April 2008

Advice to give to an aspiring tournament angler:

Spent time fishing as co-angler before going as boater.
