New Team Series Division in South Texas for 2025

Athens, AL. July 22, 2024 – American Bass Anglers proudly announces the establishment of a new Team Series division in South Texas for the 2025 season. This new division will host events at the renowned Sam Rayburn Lake, a premier fishing destination in the United States.

The division will be led by Stephen Hampton, a seasoned tournament director with 15 years of experience in organizing competitions for weekend bass anglers. “I am thrilled to bring these events to Sam Rayburn, offering a lower entry fee and a strong payout. The Team Series is designed to be more affordable and is set in the picturesque Mills Creek Park. We are excited to kick off our season with an event on October 20, 2024,” said Hampton.

Each Team Series division features six events per season, including five qualifying events and one divisional championship. The entry fee for each event is $150, which includes the big bass pot.

2025 South Texas Team Series Schedule:

(Note, the June two-day divisional championship’s date could change)

Teams will accumulate points based on their performance in each event they participate in. The national standings will reflect a team’s best four qualifying events in addition to their divisional championship points. If a team has suboptimal performances, they have the option to compete in additional qualifying events to improve their point standings.

The top teams, as determined by national points, will receive invitations to compete in the Team Series National Championship, scheduled for late spring 2026. The exact location is yet to be finalized, but it will be centrally located for accessibility.

Please note that while the event schedule is set, unforeseen circumstances may necessitate changes. Any updates will be promptly communicated on our website: www.AmericanBassAnglers.com.
