Once the wind laid down, the bite slowed down. My last bite was a was a 7-pounder; it was my third 7-pounder. This is my first win, and I hope to have another one! “Myers said.
Second place went to the Pros, Santos Solis Jr of Vero Beach, FL, who landed a 5-bass limit weighing 27.83 pounds. He earned $2600 for the effort.

“I lost an 8 pounder this morning that would have helped me. I was just flipping the pads with a creature bait down on Lake Kissimmee.” Solis Jr said.
Jeremy Smith of Auburndale, FL, took the third spot for the Pros. He landed a 5-bass limit going 24.29 pounds. He earned $1900 for his finish.

“I pretty much just concentrated on fishing pads all day. I was throwing a Gambler Ace just flipping it and casting it all day. I made the run this morning to Lake Kissimmee.” Smith said
Finishing fourth, Curtis Lewis of West Palm Beach, FL landed a 5-bass limit weighing 21.10 pounds. Lewis collected $1500 for his finish.

“I was flipping pads down on Lake Kissimmee with a Yamamoto Senko, black and blue with a 1/8 oz weight, when I caught that big bass—just pitching it nice and easy. I came up and locked back through about 1:00 PM and pitched pads up here. I caught two more limits, but they were just smaller fish. “Lewis said.
