Prattville, AL – February 17, 2024: On a crisp morning, seasoned American Fishing Tour anglers launched from the State Park Ramp near Wetumpka, AL, eager to test their skills on Lake Jordan. Despite the challenging conditions, six anglers returned with impressive five-fish limits, showcasing their expertise on the water.
Ultimately, Kenny Turner of Billingsley, AL emerged triumphant, clinching the victory with a total weight of 14.18 pounds. Turner’s remarkable performance earned him $406 in prize money, solidifying his status as a formidable contender in the tournament circuit.
Walter Orr secured a respectable second place with a total weight of 13.74 pounds, while Christian Bladen claimed third place with a noteworthy 13.45 pounds, anchored by a remarkable 5.86-pound Big Bass. Bladen’s catch earned him $79 in prize money, with an additional $70 for landing the Big Bass.
The competition showcased exceptional talent, with Richard Hoefle and Austin Nelson rounding out the top five finishers with impressive catches.
