June 1, 2024, Gainesville, GA – Ryan Jackson and Hayden Seabolt secured a victory at the American Bass Anglers Team Trail event held at Lake Sydney Lanier on Saturday, June 1, 2024. This competition, part of the American Fishing Tour, drew top anglers from the area to compete for cash prizes and important divisional and national points.
Jackson and Seabolt led the scoreboard with a total catch of 20.74 pounds, including a standout 5.09-pound bass. Their success earned them first place and a cash prize of $1,660.
In second place, Kevin and Jackson Benefield were close behind with a total of 20.73 pounds, earning $830 for their efforts. Shane Salisbury and David Uselton took third place with a total catch of 19.97 pounds, winning $660. The biggest bass of the tournament, a 5.09-pound catch, was tied between Jackson and Seabolt and Dalton and Larry Tankersley. Both teams received a separate award and a $195 cash bonus each.
Anglers and fishing enthusiasts can look forward to the next competition in this division on June 15, 2024, at Lake Sydney Lanier. The launch site will be the Little Hall Ramp in Gainesville, GA.
