Jerry Jones of Union Point, GA, secured the second-place trophy and $555 cash with a scale weight of 16.36 pounds for his five-bass limit. He brought a 5.20-pounder to the scale to win the Big Bass trophy and optional Big Bass pot of $500 cash. Total winnings for the day were $1,055.

The turnout of 50 anglers was competing for the top eight places with payouts totaling $2,450.

After the awards of trophies and cash payouts, draw prizes were given to the anglers present. Two $50 bills were won by Mike Blackshear and Greg Thomas. A $50 Sugar Creek Marina gift card was won by Justin Durham. A $100 gift certificate for a custom wooden flag from Captain Kidd’s Designs was won by Jim Windham.
