March 29, 2026 – Webster Lake, MA – Quincy Ortiz from Belchertown clinched first place at the American Fishing Tour Division 36 tournament on Webster Lake. He topped the leaderboard with a total catch of 18.32 pounds, earning $543 and the win on a cold, high-pressure day.
Ortiz, aiming for back-to-back Angler of the Year honors with two season victories already, leveraged his prior knowledge of the lake to secure the bag.
Second place went to Gordon Bocash from Putnam with 15.62 pounds, earning $329.

Third place was Donald Anyon from Charlton with 11.84 pounds.

Special Mentions Quincy Ortiz also caught the tournament’s Biggest Bass at 5.78 pounds, winning an additional $400.
Strong performances from Mike Mercier, James Mercier, and Todd Rourke rounded out the top six, boosting the event’s competitive energy.
