Brian Garner of Locust Grove, GA, takes the win at the AFT D72 tournament held March 14, 2026, on Lake Oconee. Brian had a five-bass limit that weighed 14.94 pounds to take home the first-place trophy and $667 cash. He anchored his sack with a 5.56-pound bass to win the Big Bass trophy and the optional Big Bass pot of $290 cash.
Les Charles of Milledgeville, GA, took home the second-place trophy and $414 cash with a total scale weight of 12.74 pounds. Rob Johnston of Eatonton, GA, followed closely with 12.72 pounds to secure the third-place trophy and $147 cash.
The turnout of 29 anglers were competing for the top five places with payouts totaling $1,421.

After the trophy and cash awards, draw prizes were given to the anglers present.  Two $50 bills were won by Danny Taylor and Travis Clay.    A custom wooden flag from Captain Kidd’s Designs was won by David Lowery.
