Smith wins on Lake Blackshear

On January 27 2024 DeWayne Smith of Americus Ga, emerged the winner at the AFT D 74 tournament, at Lake Blackshear out of Veterans State Park in Cordele, GA. Smith secured first place with two bass weighing a total of 10.97 pounds earning him $406 in cash. His catch was highlighted by an 8.02 pounder, which also won him the Big Bass Pot of $140.

Harry Cooper from Unadilla Ga, secured second place with the only five bass limit weighting 10.51 pounds. His accomplishment earned him a prize of $200.

Derrick Burnam from Byromville, Ga, locked up third place with three fish, totaling 8.19 pounds.
