Tim Van Polen Wins at Lake Guntersville

Saturday, April 18, 2026, on Guntersville Lake in Scottsboro, AL — Tim Van Polen of Guntersville, AL claimed top honors at the American Fishing Tour Division 29 – North AL event held on April 18, 2026, at Goosepond/GTO Tackle & Grill Marina in Scottsboro, AL Tim won with a total catch of 5 bass limit at 19.69 pounds.  His performance earned him first place and the top prize of $432. 

Second place went to Dennis Shiley of Adairsville, AL, with a 5-bass limit at 17.25 lbs, earning him $223.

Third place went to Kenny White of Gurley, AL, with a 5-bass limit at 15.54 lbs, earning him $79.

Big Bass honors went to Justin Timme of Canton, GA, for catching a 5.49-pounder for $140.

The next event is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Guntersville Lake launching from Goosepond/GTO Tackle & Grill.
