Dwayne Smith from Americus, Georgia, claimed the second position with a total catch weight of 9.40 pounds. In third place was Johnny Smith from Albany, Georgia, who caught a 2.45-pound fish, winning the Big Fish honors and a $70 cash prize. The adverse weather and water conditions posed significant challenges for the competitors. However, with the spawning season approaching, conditions are expected to improve for future events.
