December 7, 2024 – Kissimmee, Florida – James Williams claimed victory at the American Fishing Tour (AFT) Division 21 tournament, held on the scenic Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. The event attracted a full field of competitive anglers vying for cash prizes and valuable divisional and national points
Williams topped the leaderboard with an impressive total catch of 11.15 pounds, including the tournament’s largest bass, weighing in at 4.40 pounds. His outstanding performance earned him the first-place cash prize of $539, along with an additional $420 for catching the biggest bass of the day.
Securing second place, Raymond Trudeau delivered a strong showing with a total catch of 11.06 pounds, taking home $317 in prize money.

Close behind, Timothy Reuwer captured third place with a total of 9.82 pounds, earning $101.
David Buckmaster secured fourth place with a catch of 7.98 pounds, winning $72.

Rounding out the top six were James Hoctor, who finished fifth with 7.38 pounds, and James Topmiller, who claimed sixth place with 4.78 pounds.
The recent shift from warm to cooler water temperatures presented an additional challenge for the anglers as they worked to locate and attract bass throughout the day.
The next tournament for Division 21 is set for December 7, 2024, at the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. Launch will take place from Toho Lakefront Park Marina in Kissimmee, Florida. Anglers and fishing enthusiasts are encouraged to join for another exciting competition.

These anglers earn valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round at the AFT Championship. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA AFT National Championship tournament to be held in October 2025 on Lake Eufaula.
These tournaments are crucial for anglers as they accumulate points toward the coveted Divisional Angler of the Year title.
